The Nike Kobe A.D. debuted in 2016 as the 12th signature and first post-retirement sneaker for Kobe Bryant. The sneaker featured a Dynamic Flywire-infused mesh upper with a Lunarlon Foam midsole and an embedded Zoom Air Unit in the heel. The sneaker also featured Kobe's signature embroidered on the right heel tab, a DNA graphic embroidered on the left heel tab, and the shozoku logo embossed on the heel counters.
